The papers are full of what just might be better news coming from Iraq. I hope that these stories really mirror the true condition. It seems to me that if they do, then that's all the more reason to bring the combatant troops home as fast as they possible can.

I fear that if what is going on in Iraq is good news it may vindicate our policy of pre-emptive war and encourage further imperialism on our part.
